Ms Piggy was the same group with Mr Gentle Giant for their final year project. Although she was quite weak in programming, Mr Gentle Giant always tried his best to help her in any way he could. As her nickname is Ms Piggy, she loves to sleep more than she attend classes. If she attend more classes, her performance for the courses will be better!

After Mr Gentle Giant completed his Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies, he continues his Degree in Information Technology through distance learning. As he was among few students that completed their diploma first, he was quite lonely for the Degree classes. He began to take things not so seriously and failed his first semester miserably because of some programming subjects that are not easy to pass if you didn’t put effort.

Later on, the college management decided to close down the branch where Mr Gentle Giant and Ms Piggy were studying. At that moment, then a group of Mr Gentle Giant friends decided to plan for their future. They planned to continue their Degree courses on campus which is located at University of Southern Queensland, Australia. At that moment, there were 6 of them including Mr Gentle Giant and Ms Piggy.

Mr Gentle Giant and Ms Piggy know each other from studying in the same course at college. Mr Gentle Giant already notice Ms Piggy when he saw her in the college’s library on the first day of class.  He was attracted by her look, cheerful and sweet looking. As Mr Gentle Giant was shy, he tried to get some details of Ms Piggy from her friend, M.

Later on, M introduce Mr Gentle Giant to Ms Piggy, and they had short conversations. The story goes on, after Mr Gentle Giant get to know Ms Piggy, they are just normal college-mate as Mr Gentle Giant knew that Ms Piggy already had a boyfriend. However, they were quite close friends as Mr Gentle Giant always had unusual sleeping time. He can sleep in the evening and then wake up at night, then for the rest of the night, he will be awake till the next morning.

Sometimes, Mr Gentle Giant will asked for Ms Piggy help to phone and wake him up as he is a HEAVY SLEEPER!! Not a single alarm clock can wake him up at that time. Other than that, both of them always chat about stuffs like studies related or sometimes girlish stuffs ? Refer to pics below.

Sometimes, Ms Piggy will look for Mr Gentle Giant’s help for her assignment when the due date drawing closer. He is well known among his college-mate to help them with assignments if they need his help and helping Ms Piggy is not an exceptional. For Mr Gentle Giant, he will help her as long as she needs his help.

Recently, about 1 week ago, I notice that my notebook’s CPU cooling fan is not functioning. The fan is not spinning. The next thing is I worry that my notebook’s processor might gets too heated up.

As usual, the first thing I done is … search for the parts in eBay!! Yes, I am ebayer~~ I found the cheapest cooling fan which is meant for other model but compatible with my notebook model is selling at USD $6.99 + USD 4.60 for shipping to Singapore.

Next, I try to Google for my notebook’s replacement fan. I was upset that I couldn’t find any online shop selling my notebook’s CPU cooling fan except for…. PCHub.com

PCHub.com is selling the CPU cooling fan that I wanted for…. FREAKING SGD $3 ONLY. This fan is not brand new, just a used parts but it comes with 30 days of exchange warranty. I just came back from their shop at Peninsula Shopping Center, replace my CPU cooling fan and everything is working fine.

Providing fast broadband connection without cap is just another way of encouraging ‘piracy’. More users will download since their speed is fast and there is no cap of data transfer they can download.

A simple example, during my stay in Australia for my studies, at first my friends and I were dissapointed at the broadband they offered at Australia. The place we were staying, we were paying about $69.90 for 1.5Mbps broadband speed for 70 – 80GB of data transfer. If we exceeded the cap, the speed will be reduced to 512kbps.

Ridiculous comment…

With the latest announcement by Telekom Malaysia, many people are rejoicing. Among them is communications consultant Justin Then, who said he’s happy to note that Telekom Malaysia listens to consumers.
“Capping our high speed Internet access doesn’t make sense, if the Government wants Malaysians to seek out knowledge and be innovative,” he said.

Based on the quoted sentences above, this is ridiculous comment. To encourage Malaysian to seek out knowledge and be innovative doesn’t need plenty of data transfer. Only those have the intentions to downloads lots and lots of movies, animes, videos and etc will feel the ‘pain’ if Telekom set the cap.


My point is, if Malaysia government want to provide fast broadband connection, lower down the package price, remain the cap and provide reasonable speed packages, then it will be good for everyone. The reason why I support Telekom Malaysia to set cap for data transfer is very simple, because my friends and I experienced been through all these situations. My housemate, KoDoMo is abusing the high speed of broadband to download movies and animes from the Internet. Therefore before end of the month, during the 4th week, our internet speed dropped to 512kbps because we were out of quota.

Now, can you imagine if Malaysia can provide high speed broadband without data transfer cap?

Hmmm… what do you think ?

Why new site ?

The main reason I separate my personal blog because I received complaints from readers, okay the main person complaining is my baobei saying that my site kahpeng.com is drifting too far apart from my own personal blog due to advertisements and unrelated post to my life.

Why kahpeng.name.my ?

I choose kahpeng.name.my because I like the domain if you read it backwards, it says “my name kahpeng” Don’t you get it ? I am introducing myself to you politely without you notice it :) Hehehe… Second reason because I didn’t make good use of this domain name when I bought it 2 years ago, I just leave it with my other parked domains.

Okay, first of all, I know I didn’t update this blog for quite some time. Some people will say person like me as M.I.A which means Missing In Action. Anyway, this post more be my ranting post. I didn’t update my blog since my holiday back last year November. After I came back from Malaysia, I work for full time(min. 40 hours per week) during this summer in Australia in lettuce farm called as Story Fresh. I might blog about my working experience in the lettuce farm next time.

Today, I experience working under the freaking HOT sun above my head. The temperature max at 37 degree Celcius. Can you imagine what situation I’m going through ? Don’t believe ? Let’s take a look at the quoted text below =P

The weather is super duper hot today! It’s freaking 37 degrees outside right now, and I could feel the sun burning my skin as I walked out of the car just now. Seriously, I’m sweating like crazy although I’m just sitting still doing nothing but typing on my keyboard with my tube top on.

My friend sitting at home doing nothing with just her tube top on also sweating like crazy, but I’m working under the  freaking HOT sun. By noon, my water bottle is empty and there’s hardly any water left for me.

I have been working in the same lettuce farm, Story Fresh since Dec 07 until now. I have been working under the hot sun and during the cold winter where everyone is hiding under the warm quilt or electric blanket. Anyway, I just hope the temperature don’t rise too high because I don’t like when it’s too HOT!! When you’re working under hot weather, your performance will drop as well because you can’t work at your normal speed.

Alright, enough of my rantings, I am happy that another HOT day is over. Hopefully there’ll be a better tomorrow =P Haha…
